Beautiful Places In The World That Actually Exist.

Fantastical places exist not only in movies and fairy tales, but in the real world too! You’ve got to see these places to believe them.


1. Wisteria Tunnel



Wisteria Tunnel is located at the Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu, Japan. Flowering trees hang overhead and the different colored rows speckle the garden.

2. Cinque Terre, Italy



The Cinque Terre is part of the coast in the Liguria region of Italy. The terraces built on the rugged landscape are a popular tourist attraction.

3. Hotel La Montaña Mágica




Magic Mountain hotel is exactly what you think it is. It’s a hotel shaped like a mountain that spews water from the top. It’s located in Huilo Huilo, a private Natural Reserve in the Los Rios region of Chile.

4. The Crooked Forest



The Crooked Forest is located right outside of Nowe Czarnowo, West Pomerania, Poland. The grove contains approximately 400 pine trees with bent trunks. They were planted sometime in 1939, but why or who made them crooked is unknown.

5. Blue Lagoon Hot Springs



The Blue Lagoon hot springs in Iceland are man-made bodies of water, but the springs are heated naturally with the volcanic activity on the island. The springs are especially beautiful in the snowy winter, and the water still quite toasty.

6. The Great Barrier Reef



The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef system. It’s located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland, Australia. It’s so large, you can see it from outer space. The reef is a very popular destination for scuba divers and other tourists.

7. Plitvice Lakes National Park




Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest park in Croatia. The park is filled with luscious green scenery, beautiful lagoons, and amazing waterfalls.

So many other-worldly places exist right on our planet, and we never even knew about it. Here are 7 landmarks that look like paintings and scenes from science fiction movies.

Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia


During the rainy season, the world’s largest salt flat becomes the world's largest mirror. The Salar was born when several prehistoric lakes joined into one. The salt flat is so reflective, it’s used to calibrate satellites.

Reed Flute Caves, China


This 240-meter-long cave system has been one of Guilin, China’s most popular attractions for over 1200 years. The beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and pillars were all created through water erosion. In the present day, they are highlighted by multi colored lights which create a truly surreal environment.

Skaftafell Ice Cave, Iceland


Ice caves are temporary structures that form at the edge of glaciers when flowing water melts a hole into glaciers. The tightly packed ice has very few air bubbles and absorbs all light except for blue, giving the ice its unique color.

Turquoise Ice, Lake Baikal, Russia


Lake Baikal is the oldest freshwater lake in the world. In the winter, the lake freezes, but the water is so clear that you can see 130 feet below the ice. In March, frost and sun cause cracks in the ice crust, which results in the turquoise ice shards we see at the surface.

Zhangye Danxia Landform, Gansu, China


These colourful rock formations are the result of red sandstone and mineral deposits laid down over 24 million years. Wind and rain then carved amazing shapes into the rock, forming natural pillars, towers, ravines, valleys and waterfalls.

Glowworm Caves, Waitomo, New Zealand


Thousands of tiny glowworms hang to the ceiling of this grotto and radiate a luminescent light, creating a scene straight out of a sci-fi movie.

Pamukkale Hot Springs, Turkey



Over millions of years, the hotsprings in Pamukkale have transformed the landscape. Although it may look like these terraces are made of ice and snow, Turkey has bikini weather all year round. The ground is just coated in white limestone.
This world is so big and so beautiful with its awesome and charming beauty it gives the sense of freshness and liveliness. The beautiful wonders of nature are present everywhere providing some breathtaking views that remain stored in memories for forever and same is true about the beautiful places of United States of America.

Lanikai Beach


Nature is full of beauty and Lanikai Beach is an excellent example of this. This beach is located in Lanikai on the windward coast of Oahu, in the U.S state Hawaii. This beautiful beach comprises of an area of 0.5 mile but has been consistently ranked among the world’s best beaches. During tourist seasons it become extremely crowded, it is a famous spot for photo shoots as well known photographers and models frequently visit this place on nice days. Denali National Park


The Denali National Park and Preserve is an amazing place to visit, it is located in Interior Alaska and is centered on Mount McKinley which is the highest mountain in North America. There is no spot more wild, mountainous and extremely beautiful than this park, approximately 400,000 people visit this park each year and enjoy fully by visualizing wildlife, climbing mountains and doing other interesting activities.

Palouse Falls


If you are interested to visit an adventurous place then Palouse Falls is an awesome place to visist, it lies on the Palouse River and is located within Palouse Falls State Park which is a camping park and covers an area of almost 105 acres. It is like a pearl in the center of a desert where you can see massive volumes of water flow in the summer and spring season and therefore visiting this dramatic masterpiece will give an exciting experience. The incredibility of the canyon coupled with massive height of 198 feet, wonderful waterfall and beautiful landscape of eastern Washington creates a unique breathtaking view that is unlikely to be seen anywhere. 

Horseshoe Bend


It is an astonishing horseshoe shaped meander of the Colorado River that is located near the town of Page in the U.S state Arizona. It lies within Glen Canyon National Recreational Area and the bend of river belongs to the Glen Canyon chain. The very incredible fact about it is as it is surrounded by canyons so the visitors can see it from the steep cliffs above. It provides various breathtaking scenes especially when it is full with sun light and many wonderful scenes have been captured by the hikers. This beautiful place also contains many minerals and is a perfect spot to visit. 

Niagara Falls


Niagara Falls is the combined name for three waterfalls that bestride the international border between the United States and Canada. According to the size the three waterfalls are listed, the largest is Horseshoe Falls, the other one is the American Falls while the smallest is Bridal Veil Falls. It is one of the world’s more visited tourist attraction with millions of visitors annually. This place is renowned for its beauty and is an important source of hydroelectric power. To maintain the balance between industrial, commercial and recreational uses has been a challenge for the administrators of the falls since the 19th century.
